Beginning Sunday, June 1, SELCO patrons (including La Crescent Library patrons) will no longer be able to place holds on items in our partner collections (Rochester and Traverse des Sioux). Patrons will continue to be able to check out available items from those collections. Any current holds will be filled. When holds are filled, patrons in each library system are given priority, so placing a hold in another library system may mean you fall down on the list if a patron in that system requests the same title. Patrons in other systems will also be unable to place holds for SELCO items, so the hope is that all will balance out. If you do not find a title in the SELCO Libby catalogue, please choose the Notify Me tab as those who purchase items for the collection will see this request and may add it. In any case – keep reading, and know that you can always browse the “available now” options too!
